musical instruments

Early musical training helps develop the left side of the brain, including the areas that allow reasoning, language, spatial intelligence, problem solving, and creativity.  Many studies have shown that music education and mathematics skill are linked, and children with a background in musical education test higher, earn better grades in high school, and develop critical thinking skills that will serve them well in post-secondary education.

Playing musical instruments requires practice and provides a means of self-expression for a child.  It can help children learn to focus, and if the child participates in group activities such as an orchestra, cooperation and communication with others to achieve a final goal will help them learn to be part of a team.

40″ Acoustic Guitar w/CaseI’ve wanted to get my kids interested in music for some time. It really is an essential piece of a quality education. Most kids get their music experience via low-brow disc jockeys and crummy radio stations. That won’t be my kids! Now, I’m all for recreational enjoyment of music but I think they should learn the fundamentals. That’s where the Maxam 40″ Acoustic Guitar with Case comes in.

I’m my child’s biggest ally in fostering learning that’s fun and culture that counts. I don’t like having to struggle against the teachings of pop culture with harsh words and excessive punishments. I know that if I provide adequate alternatives that are equally as enjoyable they’ll take the right path!  Your affordable musical instruments make for a great start.
